We sit back and watch from a different pair of glass eyes
not by choice, and sometimes not by will
it is what has been given to us
this is ours to call our own
our veins are made up of blue and red
blue for you, red for me
We burn a little for you and everyone we touch
not by choice, and sometimes not by will
We wish we could come down and be the way you want us to be
dress me up call me your own
move my mouth move my head
I am who you make me to be now
isn’t this what you want
you cant get in though
we wont let you
We have been graced far too much to settle we are made just this wayto burn and shine
there is more to prove than ourselves
